Day 90: Rubber Monsters

... in mini.

They were given to me with a purchase at a supermarket.
They stick to surfaces.
Useless.

Thank you and Goodbye!

Day 89: Carolina's Clutter

For the coming days I will take a closer look at Caolina's things,
which are mainly clothes and toys.

A purple girls' curduroy in size 98
I got second-hand from a neighbour
in Cologne in 2008.
Clara never wore it.
Carolina doesn't wear it.

I'll start packing a new charity box.
Thank you and Goodbye!

Day 88: Espresso Maker

Don't put your espresso maker into the dishwasher.

Your shiny espresso maker will come out
aluminium oxidized.
That can't be healthy.

Thank you for all those Italian moments
and Goodbye!

Day 87: Ek Ong Kar

... means God and me are one.

It is a symbol similar to the Om sign
and a main mantra of the Sikh religion
and Kundalini Yoga.

I bought this Ek Ong Kar symbol in Amritsar in 2009,
on a visit to the Golden Temple,
after completing my Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh.

It stood on my altar ever since
and fell down a couple of weeks ago.
And even though it feels blasphemous
to declutter this piece,
I know in my heart
that God and me are still one.

Thank you for enriching my life,
living nearer to my true self
and Goodbye!
(maybe rebirth?)

Day 86: Sexy Chill Out

... this CD came with a women's magazine
that I used for a collage recently (here).
Not my kind of music.
No sexy and chill out around here.

No, Thank you and Goodbye!

Day 85: Pause and Savour

This decluttering thing is getting hard, I can tell you. Today I roamed about the whole house to find a book I could declutter. And found none. Love them all, want to keep them all. But that's what this decluttering project is about in the long run, it is not the decluttering and getting rid of, but living with the things you love.

I only stumbled over one left balloon.
(forgot here)

But I can show you something.
Remember the decluttered shoes?

That space looks like this now:

Hubby's idea and manifestation.

Let's see what if there is something to declutter tomorrow.

Day 84: Craft like in the GDR

This is a craft book for children I had while growing up in Eastern Germany,
given to me by my mother:

Actually it is not the original from my childhood, but one that I ordered second-hand from Amazon out of a nostalgic mood. Only to realize when it arrived, that we had the original in Clara's room - my mother had kept the original and had given it to Clara.

So I never unwrapped the ordered book and maybe anyone of you is interested in that book - I will give it away. Just leave a comment.

Thank you for filling that little girl with a love for craft years ago
and Goodbye!
